The Mumbai Traffic Police reacted immediately after a Twitter user, Mumbai Matters, shared a photo of a man taking a selfie with a child sitting on a bicycle in the street. The man was not wearing a helmet or yielding to other vehicles, the user said. “What a mockery of the law @ @sanjayp_1 sir… These days no one is afraid of @mumbaipolice @MTPHereToHelp and doesn’t respect them.
“In MH01DC4597, on the #WrongSide of TH Kataria Marg in Mahim, a cyclist without a helmet refused to pull off the road and started taking selfies with a smile that said ‘Call the cops co’.” This was what this user said in his tweet.
The law enforcement agency said the bill will soon be sent to the person seen in the photo. Police responded to a tweet from Mumbai Matters. The police said in their tweet: “Now if he calls we have to go. There are opportunities… even laws! He will soon get our bill.

Mr,
It is not a punishable offense to take a selfie with the daughter. The headlight is on, but it can be turned on with the switch. Motor@May be off. He is not driving the scooter. Please don’t disturb anyone’s happiness.— Naresh P.Jain “Betala” (@BetalaJain) May 19, 2022
He doesn’t appear to be riding the scooter. While other vehicles are also parked on the same side of the road.

Some users were shocked by the police response, while others supported the man by taking selfies with a single child.
One user wrote: “Share a copy of all Twitter complaints.” “It just came to our attention then. Other vehicles are also parked on the side of the road,” another user commented.
Ask you to share a chalan copy of all Twitter complaints

Challan for taking a selfie on a standing bike. Brilliant…
No action against street vendors blocking half the roads… Well done…— GIRISH CHOPRA (@gchopra31) May 20, 2022
Excellent answer. Yesterday I thought that one more person will go free without being punished.

There’s something wrong with our genes that makes us proud to break the laws in our own country…we’re not even ashamed of doing it…and once we get out, we try to become completely law-abiding.
