A Chinese plane with 122 passengers caught fire and 40 were injured during the flight


A Chinese Tibet Airlines plane has crashed. The plane caught fire while taking off with 122 passengers on board. As a result, 40 passengers were injured. The incident took place on Thursday (May 12) in the Chinese city of Chongqing. This is the second major accident in China in the last two months. So concern is being expressed.

The aircraft had 113 passengers and 9 crew members on board. All 122 passengers on board were evacuated after the accident. 40 of them were injured. The plane was flying from Chongqing to Nyingchi in Tibet.

The plane caught fire after it skidded off the runway at Chongqing airport. Videos of the plane burning have also surfaced. It shows a lot of fire coming out of the plane. Also the passengers are fleeing the plane. Firefighters are making attempts to extinguish the fire. An investigation into the accident is underway. Meanwhile, a Boeing 737 crashed in China on March 12, 2022, killing 132 passengers. It also included 9 employees.
