Audit results from online auditing tool SparkToro show that 53.3 percent of Musk’s followers are fake, meaning they have fake or inactive accounts on his list of followers. SparkToro told The Independent that the audit looked at 2,000 of the last 100,000 accounts that follow Elon Musk. Since then, more than 25 factors related to spam/bot/lower accounts have been investigated. According to a report by SparkToro, an average of 41% of Elon Musk’s followers are fake.
Notably, before buying Twitter, Musk said he had been asked to shut down spam and fake accounts. Mask tweeted on April 21: “If we buy Twitter, we will try to eliminate or reduce spambots.” According to Forbes, Musk has a net worth of २६268 billion.
