A shocking incident has come to light in Thane where a wet driver was killed for Rs. The incident took place within the confines of Shil Daighar Police Station in Thane. The murder took place on Khardi Road in the Diva area of Thane and the accused in the case have been arrested.
After booking a wet car for rent, some of them got into the car of the murdered young man to go to Ism Diva. During the trip, the young men stopped the vehicle under the pretext of urinating on Khardi Road, near Divya. Then he started arguing about money. They all killed the driver by throwing him under the vehicle and hitting him on the head with stones and cobblestones. Unidentified Isma was killed by a farmer in Sakli Diva village on May 29 and his body was found half-naked under a bridge on a dirt road leading to Khardi Road, police said. Upon receiving information about the incident, the Shil Daighar police arrived at the scene.
The police performed a panchnama and found that the deceased had been killed by throwing stones and cobblestones at his head. Police also found a wet company vehicle parked near the body. During the investigation, police identified Mayata through the Ola Company from the vehicle number. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Ali Ansari, a resident of Ghatkopar, Mumbai. Although the police immediately launched the investigation with the help of technical equipment, the police caught the accused within 10 hours. Police have arrested four people in the case. A minor was arrested.
Hasirul Halim Sheikh (36), Atish Bhosale (21), Omkar Kasekar (21) and Prashant Periya (19) have been arrested. Police also arrested a minor accused in the case. The five were brought before a court in Thane by the police, who held them in police custody for three days. The defendants are addicted to cannabis and drugs. The defendant booked a wet train from Badlapur to Diva. After the vehicle approached Diva Village, the defendant stopped the vehicle near Khardi Road to urinate. The defendants wanted money to get drunk and began beating up the wet driver.
The defendant forcibly took 2,500 rupees and a mobile phone from the driver’s pocket. When Ola’s driver resisted, the defendant killed him by hitting him hard on the head with a stone and a cobblestone. A police investigation has revealed that the defendant had killed the wet driver only through intoxication.
