Mumbai: Corona is on the rise again in the state, and the number of patients is increasing daily. The next 15 days are important and the government is watching. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray called on the citizens of the state to wear the mask, observe self-discipline and get vaccinated. Thackeray also warned that a difficult decision would be made if the number of patients increased.

The number of corona cases has increased in the state in recent days. Especially in metropolitan cities like Mumbai, Thane and Pune, the number of victims is rising fast. This has generated concern between the government and the health system. Against the background of the growing corona contagion, the prime minister held urgent discussions with the corona control action group on Thursday. The meeting took place at Thackeray’s residence for years. Sanjay Roble, Dr. Ajit Desai, Dr. Bajan, Dr. Shashank Joshi, Dr. Rahul Pandit, Dr. Vasant Nagvekar, Dr. Tatyarao Lahane Adi had participated through television.

Citizens must be careful not to increase the spread of Corona. Thackeray also ordered temporary hospitals established during the Corona period. These hospitals must undergo a structural examination. He also ordered the health department to check if there are medical personnel and necessary infrastructure in the area. He increase the number of corona tests and if there is a new mutated form of coronavirus, if so, its potential for infectivity, keep the infrastructure ready, stock up on oxygen, medicine. He also suggested to the health department that doctors should also ask those patients to undergo corona tests in time, as their symptoms are similar to corona due to the coming rains. Schools will start soon in the state. He also said that decisions have been made globally regarding schools, and children there must be informed about the infection status.

At first, Dr. Pradeep Vyas gave detailed information about the corona virus infection in the state. On April 16, the state had the lowest number of 626 active patients. Now, in a month and a half, it has multiplied by seven to 4,500. Mumbai, Thane, Pune and the metropolitan areas account for 97% of the total number of patients in the state. Vyas said the incidence rate in Mumbai is 6 percent and in the state it has risen to 3 percent.

Appeal from the Chief Minister..

* If you have a fever, cold, sore throat, get a corona test done immediately.

* Wear masks in crowded places.

* Increase vaccination between twelve and eighteen years.

* Seniors, fellow citizens should be vaccinated, increase the dose.

Seven times in a month and a half.

The state has once again witnessed an increase in the number of cases of coronary heart disease, which has increased sevenfold in the last month and a half. The Chief Minister ordered the health system to be prepared for the possible fourth wave of corona.

The next 15 days are important.

Corona is expected to rise further, according to medical experts. Therefore, the government will be monitoring the situation during the next fortnight.

1045 affected in 24 hours in the state

MUMBAI: A total of 1,045 new corona patients were found in the state on Thursday and one patient died. On Wednesday, 1,081 patients were found. Even on Thursday, the number of patients surpassed the 1,000 mark. On Thursday, 517 patients recovered and returned home. In Mumbai, 704 new corona patients were registered.
