UK government’s decision, on corona infected death to be given 1 lakh rupees

Dehradun: In Uttarakhand, it has been announced to give one lakh rupees to the dependents on death due to corona virus. CM Trivendra Singh Rawat said on Thursday that upon the death of a person infected with the corona virus of the state, his dependent will be given a sum of Rs one lakh. Chief Minister Rawat has announced this while reviewing the status of Kovid-19 in the state through video conference.


CM Rawat said that two days of Saturday and Sunday Dehradun will be closed completely and sanitization will be done. In view of the cases of corona virus infection in Niranjanpur vegetable market of Dehradun, he also instructed the authorities to close it and make alternative arrangements. Describing public cooperation as very important in the fight with Kovid-19, the Chief Minister said, “We have to fight this battle with people and strictness and awareness are our two main weapons in this.” Directing people to be constantly aware of social distance, compulsion of masks, etc., said that strict action should be taken against those who do not follow it.


In this meeting, along with ensuring availability of necessary facilities in the Quarantine Center, he also instructed the officials to conduct a surprise check. He also asked to pay special attention to the separate centers in the villages and to give funds to the village heads.


CM Rawat said that we will have to give priority to agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, fisheries sectors for quick employment and livelihood creation and he asked the officials to chalk out an action plan to take advantage of important decisions taken by the central government recently. Similarly, it should be the goal of every District Magistrate to benefit the youth from the recently launched Mukhyamantri Swarozgar Yojana. Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar Singh, who was present at the meeting, asked to increase the investigation of corona virus and pay special attention to find contacts.
