Aurangabad: Within 24 hours, the local crime branch police managed to unravel the mystery of the burnt body found in a bag in the Himayat Bagh area within the confines of the Begumpura police station. It has come to light that her wife, who was fed up with her husband’s constant beatings due to her intoxication, murdered her husband with the help of her brother and her relatives.
The police arrested the deceased’s wife, Mevhana, Mevhana’s wife and their son. Police found clues in the case of a two-wheeler seen on CCTV set up at the scene.
The deceased has been identified as Sudhakar Narayan Chikte (43). Sudhakar Chikte, native of Matla village in Chikhali taluka, resident of Sangle colony in Aurangabad. His wife Asha Chikte (40), Mevhana Rajesh Santosh Molwale, his wife Alka Rajesh Molwale and their 19-year-old son Yuvraj Rajesh Molwale (all from Godhari, Tal. Chikhli) have been arrested in the case.
Police inspector Avinash Aghav’s team discovered the murder. According to the police, Rajesh Molwale and his family lived in the same building in the Himayatbagh area. Sudhakar was unemployed and intoxicated.

The defendant allegedly stabbed him in the head at night after an argument over alcohol money. Attempts were made to burn the bodies in order to dispose of the bodies and destroy the evidence. The matter came to light after it was noted that the two-wheeler seen on CCTV and the two-wheeler in the deceased’s home area were the same.
