After more than 35 years of fighting against Sardar Sarovar, the land and house in Manibeli village were submerged and the government gave Vasave five acres of land near the rehabilitation colony at Katharde in Shahada taluka. By giving the land to Verson five years ago, the administration somehow made fun of him. Because in the rehabilitation colony near Katharde village, where they were given land to farm on the outskirts of Katharde village, they did not get land for housing according to government regulations. So for five years Verson traveled 300 kilometers[300 millas]once a week from Manibeli to Katharde. He never thought of the distance as farming was necessary to fill his stomach. But now the Narmada Development Department has demolished his house in Manibeli and relocated the entire Birhad Rehabilitation Colony. The question arises why the administration brought them in when there was not an inch of room left for a house in the rehab colony.
Due to lack of space, when they opened in an open space in the village, they had to live in a dilapidated house. Verson’s eyes filled with tears when he was asked what would happen to the family if they didn’t get land before the monsoon. Originally, if the house was submerged, according to the rules, land for the house must be given one year before moving them. However, like Version, there are 43 people affected by such projects in Katharde Shivara who got land but did not get houses or land. Narmada Bachao Andolan has stated that some farmers in Prakashe village near Shivara are willing to give up their land for rehabilitation. But due to government apathy, the paper horses do nothing but dance. For this reason, the social workers affirm that it is time for the people affected by the project to start living it today. District Collector Manisha Khatri has warned of action against the culprits. She said that she has informed the government about the high demand for plots in Katharde Digar. The Narmada Development Department has claimed that this was due to a land transfer case and not the Verson house.

Transplant the plants in rows 5-6 meters apart into prepared 1-meter-deep holes. Popular trees are good from January to February. The period between February 15 and March 10 is best for transplanting poplars.
You can earn 10 lakh rupees on one hectare
Poplar saplings are not very expensive. But when it comes to selling, its price is very high. Experts say that the price of wood from popular trees is 700 to 800 rupees per quintal. 250 trees can be planted on one hectare. The average height of a tree is about 80 feet. One can earn up to Rs 8-10 lakh from a popular tree in 1 hectare. In the country, a large number of farmers from Bijnor of Uttar Pradesh are involved in the cultivation of folk.
