Pune – Candidates will now be able to get information about Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) recruitment exams more easily. MPSC has now developed a mobile app, through which candidates can get information about various recruitment processes, exams, etc. In the future, the function of completing applications and paying exam fees will also be available through the app.
The competitive exams conducted by MPSC are taken by millions of candidates in the state. Information about advertisements for various positions, exams, application process is provided on the MPSC website. MPSC has recently started using social media like Twitter. However, as the use of smartphones has increased tremendously, a separate mobile app called ‘MPSC’ has been created to provide easy information to candidates. While the app is currently being developed for the Android system, the process of developing the app for the iOS system is also underway, MPSC said.
Sunil Avtade, Deputy Secretary, MPSC, said that the commission is trying to provide maximum facilities to the candidates by making maximum use of advanced technology. Currently, candidates must use the MPSC website to apply. So if the candidate doesn’t have a computer or laptop, he has to go to an internet cafe. But now the candidates will get all the information on their mobiles through the app. In the future, it will be possible to complete the application form and pay the examination fee through the application itself.
Applications are welcome, but candidates must get answers
It is welcome that MPSC is making it easier for candidates to use technology and improve their performance. But the e-mails sent by the candidates are not answered, the call center is not duly informed. The MPSC should also pay attention to this. The candidates must also be informed about the measures taken in relation to the complaint filed by the candidates in the application. The candidates also said there should be a facility to scan and upload documents.
