Recruitment in the Service Industry: In the year 2023, there is good news for job seekers in the service industry in the country. On one hand, the reduction phase is underway in many countries around the world, on the other hand, due to strong business sentiment in India, companies related to the service industry are going to do tremendous hiring. According to a report, 77 percent of employers in the service industry plan to make new hires between January and March, the fourth quarter of 2022-23.
According to the Employment Outlook report from human resources firm TeamLease, 73 percent of employers also said this in the third quarter. The report covered 573 small, medium and large companies in 14 types of service industries in 14 cities. These contracts will be at all entry levels, junior, mid and senior. Along with this, this contracting will be made for metropolitan cities, Tier-1, Tier-2 and Tier-3, as well as for rural areas.
68% of employers in services and manufacturing have expressed positive hiring sentiment. At the same time, 68 percent recruitment has been planned in the Indian service industry in the mainstream market. This number is 48 percent in Asia Pacific and 48 percent in the Americas.
The service sector accounts for 98 percent of e-commerce employers in India. After which, telecommunications are 94 percent, educational services 93 percent, financial services 88 percent, retail 85 percent, and logistics 81 percent.

According to the report, 82 percent of large companies, 61 percent of small companies and 50 percent of medium-sized companies have indicated their willingness to hire. Mayur Taday, commercial director of TeamLease Services, said that in other countries around the world there are hiring freezes or reductions, but in India there is a continued improvement in sentiment.
