BJP leader Pravin Darekar expressed his displeasure at the statement made by NCP MLA Rohit Pawar about late BJP leader Gopinath Munde. However, after Darekar’s comments, Rohit Pawar, in just a few hours, criticized the leader of the opposition in the Legislative Council and advised: “Darekar Saheb, we should not worry about the Pawar family.”
Commenting on Gopinath Munde, Rohit Pawar had said, “If Gopinath Munde were alive today, he would have become the Chief Minister of Maharashtra.” Because of this, while interacting with journalists in Pune on Friday, Darekar took aim at Rohit Pawar. “Instead of saying that if Gopinath Munde were alive, he would have become the prime minister of Maharashtra, Rohit Pawar should investigate the situation at home,” Darekar advised Rohit Pawar. Speaking further, Rohit Pawar criticized Rohit Pawar saying that he should first agree on whether Ajit Pawar, Supriya Sule or his family will be the Chief Minister and then talk about those who are not alive.
Rohit Pawar responded to this criticism by Praveen Darek in three tweets around 10pm on Friday. “Some political leaders are beyond politics and are leaders because they are Munde Saheb. He trained many activists and leaders. Therefore, the general public and activists used to look at him as the Chief Minister,” Rohit said in his first tweet. In the following tweet, Rohit Pawar clarified as he supported his statement. He says: “Therefore we should have welcomed the sentiments I have expressed about Mr. Munde. But instead of doing that, it is unbelievable that you would criticize a small activist like me. I may not have understood Munde Saheb since who joined BJP after Munde Saheb died,” said Rohit Pawar.
In his last tweet, Rohit Pawar told everyone not to worry about Pawar’s family. “And yes, as a Pawar family, together we are setting the political direction and we have decided. Therefore, everyone should not worry about the Pawar family! On the contrary, he has agreed to be the Chief Minister of the NCP, thank you for that! Rohit Pawar said.

Meanwhile, while targeting Rohit Pawar, Darekar also referred to him as Ajit Pawar. “Rohit Pawar is still young. Ajit Pawar always says that you should not create disputes. They should take note of that,” he had said. Now Rohit Pawar has responded to all these criticisms.
