Sanjay Padte, District Chief, Sushant Naik, Youth Sena District Chief, Satish Sawant, Neelam Palav, Women’s Front Chief, Sawant Kudal, Rajan Naik, Taluka Chief, Shailesh Bhogle, Kankavali Taluka Chief, Harshad Gawde, Sushil Chinderkar, Sushant Dalvi, Sarpanch Pramod Kavale, Nisar Sheikh, Uttam Loke Vilas Gudekar, Sameer Parab, Rakesh Pawaskar, Rimesh Chavan, Damu Sawant and other Shiv Sena and Shiv Sainiks officials were present in large numbers.

At this time, Sandesh Parkar said that the citizens of Sindhudurg district should get a toll exemption, until the Mumbai-Goa highway work is completed, no one should be charged toll. The Shiv Sena also demanded a joint meeting of the District Guardian Minister, Local MPs, MLAs, People’s Representatives, District Collectors, Road Officers, Revenue Officers and all road related officials regarding to toll exemption.

Vaibhav Naik said: “There is still a lot of work to be done on the Mumbai-Goa highway. The central government plans to start collecting tolls in the Sindhudurg district. Therefore, vehicles entering and leaving the Sindhudurg district will be affected financially. So m. h Vehicles with license plate 07 need to be toll-free”. At that time, Shiv Sena leaders and officials staged a sit-in agitation on the road for some time, shouting slogans against the Central Government. MLA Vaibhav Naik also warned that Shiv Sena will not remain silent until local vehicles get toll exemption.
