Nagpur In order to improve the technical knowledge of the officials of the Regional Transportation Offices (RTO), the Department of Transportation sends them to be trained in several important institutes of the country. Therefore, serious doubts are raised about the work of this department.
The authorities must have technical knowledge about modern electric vehicles. Based on this training, they can instruct sales and action reps on these vehicles. That’s why the transportation department also sends officers every year to train at major institutes out of state. After the arrival in the country of BS4, BS6 and CNG-powered quadricycles, some RTO officials were also sent to their respective companies for training. At present, the Central and State Governments are making efforts to increase the use of electric vehicles. As a result, these vehicles have hit the roads in large numbers. Officials from different parts of the state said on condition of anonymity that the transportation department has not yet trained its officers.
A small part of the training given to RTOT officers is related to electronics, but now, considering the growing number of electric vehicles and the new technology in them, the Department of Transport will ask CIRT, Pune for special training on these vehicles. also.
