Corset Farmers have given the central and state governments eight days to obtain guaranteed prices for agricultural products, including milk, but they have not realized it. Therefore, the farmers of Puntambe (Tal. Rahata, Dist. Nagar) started the agitation of the dam from today Wednesday. Farmers have called ‘Elgar’ against both governments and once again Punatambekar has called for statewide agitation and farmers’ struggles against the government have started.

At the beginning of the agitation, the statue of the farmer was anointed with milk and the torch of agitation was lit.

This movement has been supported by the officials of several farmers’ organizations in the state. A resolution was passed in the gram sabha on May 23 and a copy was handed over to the tehsildar. As no decision was made on the farmers’ demands, the ‘Kisan Kranti’ officials started this agitation. The shaking of the dam will take place from June 1 to 5. If the government does not realize this, ‘Kisan Kranti’ officials have warned of intense unrest.
