“Whether the scheme is central or state, the state system has a great contribution to make in reaching the common man. These efforts must be partisan and nonpartisan. I am happy and satisfied that these schemes have been successfully delivered to the beneficiaries by the administrative system at the state, district and taluka levels,” said Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.
I was talking to beneficiaries of various central Sahyadri Guest House schemes. The Chief Minister spoke on the occasion of the state-level program organized by the Department of Rural Development under the Amrit Mahotsavi Independence programme.
On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar also interacted with each of the beneficiaries and asked them how they got the benefit of the plan and if they had any other expectations. Minister of State for Rural Development Abdul Sattar also expressed his views. Mumbai Guardian Minister Aslam Sheikh, Chief Secretary Manukumar Srivastava and senior officials were present for the occasion. Rajesh Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Rural Development made an introduction at the beginning. On this occasion, Yasin Shabbir Sheikh, Nisha Sharma, Kunju Pawar from Mumbai also received Pradhan Mantri Matruvandana Yojana benefit certificates from the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister.
Large State Participation in Schemes –
The Chief Minister said that the state has a 40 per cent share in centrally sponsored schemes.
Appreciate Maharashtra’s impressive performance:

Drought without implementation in Maharashtra –
The Chief Minister said that the image is not only in Maharashtra but also in recent years. Previous generations have fought for the independence of our country.
