Rich Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj has commented on the confusion that started with Sambhaji Raje Chhatrapati’s Rajya Sabha candidacy. The wealthy Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj has replied that the Chief Minister did not take utern because of his support for Sambhaji Raje. Shahu Maharaj also said that the rough draft between Shiv Sena and Sambhaji Raje Chhatrapati was crude.
According to my report on ABP, “Your candidacy has been rejected personally. We would have had some discussions or you would have agreed with them or not. Something would have happened. But since there was no such discussion, this is not about insulting the family. This it’s politics. If he had come to me, it would have been a different issue. But that didn’t happen,” said Shrimant Shahu Maharaj.
“His efforts to get into the Rajya Sabha started in January. I had no idea what his plan was. Even then there was no discussion. But he told me he had decided to go there. I was against it, but being a democracy, they can go to anywhere,” said Shahu Maharaj.
“It has been said from time to time that the Chhatrapati dynasty has made decisions, but their decisions are personal. Since 2009 they have taken a different path,” said Shahu Maharaj.
“The draft was a draft. But it would have been final and then if the thinking had changed, you can say the word has changed. But while the negotiations were going on, being in the draft stage, not exactly anything was decided. Nothing was certain. until it was sealed, signed. But where the word draft was used, it meant it was raw, not final,” Shahu Maharaj said.
Meanwhile, on Friday, Sambhaji Raje Chhatrapati held a press conference and announced that he would not run in the Rajya Sabha elections. He also clarified that from now on, through the organization ‘Swarajya’, I am free to unite the Mavals and the poor sections of the society.
