The Central Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Friday dropped charges against six people, including actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan, citing insufficient evidence against him. In recent years, many actions taken by ‘NCB’ against Hindi film stars and co-stars have turned out to be foolish, and one more was added on the occasion of Aryan Khan. The Center is understood to have ordered the Union Finance Ministry to launch an investigation against then-NCB Mumbai chief Sameer Wankhede, who is now investigating the Atacruz drug case. Therefore, it is likely to further increase the difficulty of Wankhede, which has already been removed from the NCB. Now the Congress state chairman Nana Patole has reacted to this as she was speaking to the media in Nagpur.
Congress has declared that the Central Agency for Investigation is being misused. Congress had also clarified its position on the Aryan Khan case. I tell them that no action will be taken against Sameer Wankhede. Because Wankhede was a parrot in the investigation and it will be seen in the future that no action will be taken against him,” said Nana Patole.
Actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, and six others were acquitted by the NCB on Friday due to a lack of solid evidence. Aryan Khan is not included in the 6,000-page charge sheet filed by NCB in court. The NCB clarified that there was no evidence that Aryan Khan possessed or used drugs.
Due to the unequivocal role of the NCB, it has become clear that Wankhede has been reckless in the investigation of the drug case. The sources said that after the NCB filed the charge sheet, the Center immediately took note of the developments in the case and decided to take action against the controversial officer Sameer Wankhede.
