Renowned Pune-based builder Avinash Bhosale was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday. The CBI took this action in the Yes Bank-DHFL fraud case. He is accused of diverting embezzlement money. The case dates back to 2018, when billions of rupees were traded elsewhere between April and June of that year. Various bank accounts were used for this purpose. Avinash Bhosale is alleged to have diverted some of the money. On May 1, the CBI conducted a search operation in Pune and Mumbai.
