Omkar Madhukar Pawar, a son of Sanpane village in Jawali taluka of Satara, was ranked 194th in UPSC in the country, while Amit Laxman Shinde (capital Teldara, Maan taluka) of Maan taluka was awarded 570 points on the merit list.
The dream of becoming an IAS has come true. Two years ago, Omkar was promoted from UPSC to Fuerza Paramilitary and then to IPS. But his dream of becoming an IAS officer did not remain idle. Through his hard work and dedication, Omkar ranked 194th in the country on the merit list. Omkar received primary education from him at Sanpane Primary School and secondary education from him at New English School, Humgaon (Ta Jawali). After that, he completed his engineering education in Karad and Pune. Omkar’s father is a farmer and has fulfilled his dream with hard work. He is being appreciated from all over the area.
The Commission had conducted the 2021 Civil Service Major Examination on March 17. The interviews of the candidates who passed the main exam were held from April 5 to May 26, 2022. Through this exam, 712 positions in the civil service will be filled.
