Due to the politics of Sambhaji Raje Chhatrapati’s Rajya Sabha candidacy over the past few days, the mood in the state was very hot. Sambhaji Raje Chhatrapati rejected Shiv Sena’s demand to stand as the party’s candidate. What will Sambhaji Raje Chhatrapati do now after Sanjay Pawar of Kolhapur nominated him for Rajya Sabha of Shiv Sena? He was presenting himself with such a question. In this context, Sambhaji Raje held a press conference this morning and announced that he was withdrawing from this election. However, due to this decision made by Sambhaji Raje, there are ideological differences in the ruling Mahavikas Aghadi in the state.
Sambhaji Raje Chhatrapati had announced that he would contest the Rajya Sabha elections as an independent candidate. However, after the role of Shiv Sena, Sambhaji Raje Chhatrapati has announced that he will not participate in this election. This has made it clear that Sambhaji Raje Chhatrapati will no longer be an MP. He also openly expressed his distaste for the Chief Minister. “I feel so bad. The Chief Minister was not expected to break his word,” said Sambhaji Raje, lamenting that he did not get Shiv Sena’s support.
After Sambhaji Raje’s press conference, Nana Patole commented on the issue on Twitter, saying that it was unfortunate that Sambhaji Raje was not an MP and that Congress would always support him. “Other parties don’t know, but the Congress sincerely wanted Sambhaji Raje to go to the Rajya Sabha. His leadership had a distinctive charm in Maharashtra. It is really unfortunate that he has not become a MP. The Congress will always support him,” said Nana Patole .

Sambhaji Raje was preparing to participate in independent elections
Sambhaji Raje Chhatrapati had been running in the elections with the BJP or any other party for the last few days and had called on all parties to take the initiative and support him as an independent. However, Shiv Sena had announced that he would send his own candidate to the Rajya Sabha. Consequently, it was stipulated that Sambhaji Raje should compete as the Shiv Sena candidate. However, after Sambhaji Raje Chhatrapati made it clear that the decision to run independent elections was final, Shiv Sena nominated Sanjay Pawar from Kolhapur.
