The state’s former interior minister, Anil Deshmukh, will be pardoned in connection with the corruption case. An application filed by Sachin Waze in the Mumbai Sessions Court in this regard has been approved. Previously, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had authorized Waze to witness the amnesty. Therefore, the CBI will file a charge sheet in a 100 crore ransom case tomorrow.
Sachin Waze, a co-defendant in the Rs 100 crore ransom case, is currently in custody. He had made an apology at the Mumbai Sessions Court. The corresponding application has already been approved by the court. Therefore, the problems of former Interior Minister Anil Deshmukh are going to increase. Sachin Waze is a co-defendant in the case.
While the petition was being heard in the Mumbai Court of Sessions, Anil Deshmukh’s personal assistant, Kundan Shinde, opposed the petition. However, the court refused to hear Shinde’s guilty plea. The court rejected the allegation saying that one defendant could not object to witnessing the other defendant’s apology. Sachin Waze appeared in court via video conference during the hearing.
At this point, the court outlined all the terms and conditions for witnessing the apology. Sachin Waze will sign the amnesty documents on June 7. Therefore, Sachin Waze will appear in court at this hearing.
