Amravathi : A landmark decision has been made to implement CBCS (Choice Based Credit System) based on preference in Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University courses. This will be implemented from the next academic session.
Study Board meetings were held for two consecutive days to prepare study programs for all subjects and exams. At the same time, about 400 study group members met to prepare the curriculum. Since the new curriculum will be implemented from July 1, it is almost started at the university.
Vidya Parishad has also passed the necessary instructions, ordinances and regulations for the implementation of this method in the intermediate period of education, teaching, examination and evaluation.

There is a lot of room for improvement in the university. Creating a curriculum is a challenge and you have accepted that challenge. It requires a collective effort and we are all making those efforts. Universities should enter into MOUs with the best universities in Maharashtra for student exchange so that students can learn and acquire good things from other universities. “There are many areas of employment that need to be explored and if the curriculum is developed accordingly, our students will gain skills and it will be easy for them to get a job or start their own business,” he said. The syllabus had not changed for several days, so the syllabus needed to be changed. Many workshops on CBCS and NEP have been organized by universities and colleges. Joint meetings were held to help study board members understand the CBCS system and help create new study plans. Through these members, the topic will be communicated to all teachers, students and the community through five hundred training programs next month. For students to get jobs, it was necessary to make appropriate changes in the curriculum. The Vice Chancellor has expressed the opinion that this will provide new employment opportunities for our students. The members of the Study Board want to create good and suitable courses for students to get jobs. Abundant job opportunities should be created through this course. We want to create employable students, said Q-Vice Chancellor Dr. VS Choubey says.
Amravati University has 48 study boards and 400 members of that study board were present on the campus for two days. Meetings were organized in 27 places for the study board meetings. Meals and lodging were also arranged for members in the area. After the study board prepares the syllabus, its recommendations will go to the faculty for approval and then to the Vidya Parishad.
