The District Collector today published the preliminary district formation notice of Buldhana Zilla Parishad and District Panchayat Samiti. Eight Zilla Parishad groups and 16 Panchayat Samiti groups have been increased.
In accordance with various sections of the Maharashtra Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti Act 1961, the general election of Zilla Parishad and 13 Panchayat Samitis is about to take place. In this context, the Department of Elections received a program to determine the geographical limits of the districts. Accordingly, the proposed structure of Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti is being advertised in stages. In accordance with the Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti ward formation programme, the Division Commissioner approved the draft ward formation proposal for the general election on 31 May. The notice of formation of this model neighborhood was published on June 2.

Citizens wishing to submit suggestions and objections to this model neighborhood structure must submit it to the District Collector by June 8. After listening to the objections and suggestions received, the Department of Elections will finalize the formation before June 22. The final composition of the district will be published in the Government Gazette on June 27. The number of members of Buldhana Zilla Parishad has increased from 60 to 68. The number of counts of Panchayat Samiti has increased from 120 to 136. This increase in space is due to the increase in population.
