While patrolling the Tadoba Forest Range in the Tadoba Dark Tiger Project (Core) area, the fire was observed to be raging in the Bhanuskhindi Protected Forest in the Bhanuskhindi area. Subsequently, officers and staff arrived at the scene in time and the fire was brought under control in time. After that, the Forest Department launched a search operation for an unidentified person who started the fire. However, shocking information came to light that a total of 24 hectares of forest in the Bhanuskhindi Protected Forest in the Bhanuskhindi area adjacent to his farm had been burned due to the fire.
Jambhule was informed in a letter dated March 22 by the forestry office to inform interested forestry workers as they burned the ashes and dams in the field. However, the defendant has deliberately tried to destroy the forest and wildlife sanctuaries by setting the forest on fire. Therefore, the defendant Jambhule was arrested under the Wildlife (Protection) Act. Subsequently, the accused was brought before the court and placed in judicial custody.
