Padi Padi Leche Manasu – A new Flavored love story – Review/rating

Published

on

Padi Padi Leche Manasu is an Telugu romantic film directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, starring Sharwanand and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles. There is a lovely romcom called 50 First Dates where a guy has to make a lady fall in love with him every day because of her amnesia. No, no that’s not the story of this movie (you really thought my editor would let me give away a spoiler like that?!). The point I’m trying to make is that movies that bank on medical disorders should focus, they cannot afford to lose focus. Because, the premise itself is already confusing.

Telugu-speaking community in Kolkata where a rebellious youngster Surya falls for a medical student Vaishali. The love story isn’t as simple as it appears to be. Surya doesn’t let Vaishali realise his true identity. There’s an obvious conflict, there’s a natural disaster and a possible medical disorder too. How do these threads come together? Well, that’s the film for you in a nutshell.

Sharwanand’s romantic drama Padi Padi Leche Manasu has received mixed responses from the audience. A few sections of the audience have lauded the film calling it a feel-good romantic drama, but the film is also getting slammed for being slow and boring. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, Padi Padi Leche Manasu has built a good buzz with its promos. Despite competing with big releases like Zero, KGF Chapter 1 and Antariksham 9000KMPH, the romantic drama has managed to rake in moolah at the box office.

Padi Padi Leche Manasu starring Sai Pallavi and Sharwanand has hit the theatres today on 21st December. Set in Kolkata, the romantic and family drama is directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. Sudhakar Cherukuri is producing the movie under the banner Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas.

Sai Pallavi and Sharwanand are actors who can sink their teeth into solid roles and ensure we have a good time at the movies. When it comes to romance, writer-director Hanu Raghavapudi can paint an absorbing tale. So it’s a jolt when these people come together to present a romance that at first seems joyous, then unsure of where it stands, and eventually gets messy. At one point Priyadarshi wears an apt expression that’s hard to describe in words and declares that he can’t make sense of anything. Neither could I. Padi Padi Leche Manasu, starring Sharwanand and Sai Pallavi, is a competently made romedy with a largely predictable theme at its core. A high-spirited football player meets a medico in Kolkata. He conceals his identity and tries to impress her and at some point in time, creates a situation that she had to acknowledge his feelings on her, despite their opposite temperaments.

The concept of the girl “forgetting” her lover after an incident was explored in many recent movies that include Sai Dharam Tej and Anupama starrer Tej I Love You, and Anaganaga O Prema Katha. However, director Hanu Raghavapudi seems to be in confusion whether to focus on retrograde amnesia or wooing game. He was in two minds about this plot is quite evident the way the film is structured: two halves of the movie are completely different from one another.

Actor Sharwanand would never miss a chance to woo youngsters with his boy next door looks in the film. He was last seen in Mahanubhavudu which was a decent hit at the box office. Now, Sharwanand will see you all in theatres on December 21st in his movie Padi Padi Leche Manasu. The film is making all the right noises among cinephiles ever since it went on floors. His fans are eagerly waiting with bated breath to see his new avatar. Padi Padi Leche Manasu has grabbed many eye balls and created a positive buzz amongst the audiences. There is a buzz on social media circles that Padi Padi Leche Manasu could be on the lines of Varun Tej’s blockbuster hit Fidaa thanks to Sai Pallavi, who’s playing the female lead in this film as well.

Padi Padi Leche Manasu is a romantic film with a good dose of other mass elements. Hanu Raghavapudi has written the script for the movie, which has been produced by Prasad Chukkapalli, Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banner Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas. It has received a U certificate and its runtime is 2.40 hours. Padi Padi Leche Manasu stoy: Set in Kolkata, the romantic drama chronicles the shared destiny of a young couple as they navigate through the highs and lows of a budding relationship.

K.G.F: Chapter 1 – Collects 20.3 Cr with in 2 days of span

KGF movie review, KGF movie rating, kgf kannada movie rating, kgf telugu review, latest updates, kannada dubbed telugu movie roars at box office. K.G.F: Chapter 1 is a 2018 Indian Kannada-language period action film set in the Kolar Gold Fields. It was written and directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner Hombale films. It is the first installment in the two-part series, followed by K.G.F: Chapter 2. The film stars Yash in the lead role. After registering an impressive Rs 18.1 crore at the box office on day 1, the film has shown growth on its second day with a collection of Rs 19.20 crore. The film’s total collection now stands at Rs 37.21 crore.

The narrative in the first part builds the character of Rocky as the maverick mastermind who will not stop for anything until he reaches his mission. While there is a sense of temporary closure in the first chapter of the film, one also leaves the hall yearning for more. KGF surely seems to have delivered what it set to achieve.

KGF Chapter 1 hasn’t met the expectations that it created with its brilliant trailer. Critics have lauded the film for its visual appeal but have slammed it for being bland and cliched. However, there’s no stopping the Yash-starrer at the box office. The film is currently the biggest opener of the Kannada film industry. On its first day, the film collected about Rs 25 crore from the worldwide box office. In India, the film raked in Rs 21 crore (approx) despite facing competition from Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero. The Kannada film also released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam across the country. The film has opened to mixed critical reviews. However, the film has managed to smash many records in Karnataka.

SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali series proved that even regional movies can beat films of Bollywood, the biggest film industry of India. Baahubali The Conclusion is still the second highest-grosser of Indian cinema (Aamir Khan’s Dangal is on the top). Now, another regional film is giving a tough competition to the biggest Bollywood release of this week. Kannada film industry’s costliest venture KGF Chapter 1, starring Yash, has come close to Shah Rukh Khan’s latest release Zero in terms of box office collection. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be… a king.

Ambitious aspiration, humongous scope and big ticket budgeting — K.G.F. Chapter I has it all. Actor Yash has sought to shed his romantic hero image for a heavy-duty action hero avatar. However, all the pluses do not translate to an enjoyable experience. Director Prashanth Neel’s hope of pouring money on the screen in the hope of things falling in place is exceedingly optimistic. The film KGF stands for Kolar Gold Fields and in the 1970 and 1980S. Yash is on a a record-breaking spree with opening day collections. KGF has set a new benchmark in Yash’s career. We bet the film will likely make its way to the Rs 50 Cr club by this weekend even though it is believed to have raked in so much via other business. Going by the trend, the film would break every possible record at Karnataka box office. After seeing the overwhelming response to KGF, it is being heard that they are extending theatres for the film across the nation.

Story – screenplay – direction: Story of the film is good and connects well with the masses. Director Prasanth Neel’s direction is good. He brings a lot of style and swag to the film with his narration that is rich with visuals and sound. The narrative technique is in classic style where story is narrated in three time-frames. Screenplay of the film is good. Though there are a very few scenes, mother-son sentiment plays a major role in connecting audiences emotionally to the story of the film. Prasantha has terrific visual narrative skills. It’s at par with any world cinema or Hollywood film. Director ends the chapter 1 film with visuals that make us wait eagerly for the chapter 2. KGF: Chapter-1 is releasing in five languages and will hit the marquee on December 21. Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero is also scheduled for release the same day, but the makers of film are undeterred, says producer Ritesh Sidhwani. Actor and producer Farhan Akhtar along with partner Ritesh Sidhwani and leading cast of KGF: Chapter 1, Yash and Srinidhi Shetty were present at the second trailer release of the film in Mumbai on Wednesday.

First Telugu Space Adventure – Antariksham 9000 kmph, review, rating 2018

This is a outer space thriller story where the lead pair go on a mission. After watching Antariksham 9000 KMPH, you will realize the meaning of the title, which refers to traveling in space at the speed of 9000 KMPH. Dev (Varun Tej), an outstanding astronaut at Indian Space Centre is lying low after a life-changing incident. For some unexplainable reasons, India’s top space scientist settles down in a small village in Rameshwaram and makes a living by teaching school kids about the weather events that causes ‘convectional rainfall.’ Talk about lying low.

Story: The coordinates of an old satellite from India, Mihira, are lost with the potential for it to wreak havoc with communications worldwide. Astronaut Dev’s (Varun Tej) life was turned upside down five years ago and he now teaches science at a government school. He’s brought in to fix the satellite but is that the only reason he agrees to come back?

Dev (Varun Tej), a renowned space scientist, is leading life as a teacher in Rameshwaram after a failed space mission that made an irrecoverable loss to his personal life. Five years later, he is called in by Indian Space Center when Mihira, an Indian satellite, is set to collide with other satellites and it may lead to the collapse of a global communication system. Only Dev can change it. Riya (Aditi) convinces him to come back to the center. He agrees to take up the mission as he has a secret mission to fulfill too.

Young Hero Varun Tej who recently delivered a super hit movie like ‘Tholi Prema’ has now come up with a space thriller ‘Antariksham 9000 kmph’. Touted to be the first of its kind in Tollywood, ‘Ghazi’ fame Sankalp Reddy helmed this project. Aditi Rao Hydari and Lavanya Tripathi played the female leads in the movie which has been carrying a decent pre-release buzz. The trailer of the film has received a thumping response from the audience and the movie has finally made it into the theatres today on December 21st, 2018. The movie unit is super confident about the outcome of the flick.

Antariksham has decent visual effects. We get a lot of Varun Tej helplessly floating in space. He outdoes the gravity and manages to stay on his course. The director Sankalp Reddy tries to make this movie an interesting thriller. He deserves appreciation as he dared to make a space thriller movie like Antariksham and succeeded to an extent. The movie has decent visual effects. The music by Prashanth R. Vihari is fine. The editing is not up to the mark.

The world is under threat of global communication failure. Only a genius who refuses to get back into service can save the day. Adventuring into space to make the country proud this team of astronauts take up more than they can handle. But the “hero” defies rationality to do what he set out to do. India is proud; Telugu matti is proud,. Rejoice!

Antariksham 9000 KMPH is the latest Telugu movie released on this busy Friday i.e. 21st December 2018. The movie belongs to the science fiction space thriller zoner, it is written and directed by Sankalp Reddy. The film starring Varun Tej, Aditi Rao Hydari and Lavanya Tripathi in the lead roles, the movie also features Satyadev Kancharana in the prominent role. For those who are not aware of the fact, this movie is the first Telugu science fiction space movie. Let’s see how the movie is performing at the box office.

LATEST UPDATE: Thousands of people have apparently downloaded the full movie of Antariksham in the last one day. A viewer, who watched its pirated copy is not happy with it. He says that this print has a very audio and video quality and does give good viewing experience. He adds that the film should be watched in the cinema halls for its real space experience.

Bottem line: Telugu’s first space thriller titled Antariksham 9000 KMPH is all set to hit theatres across the world tomorrow. The film features Varun Tej, Aditi Rao Hydari, Lavanya Tripathi, Sathyadev Kancharana and Srinivas Avasarala in prominent roles. Directed by Sankalp Reddy, Antariksham 9000 kmph is set in the backdrop of Srihari Kota space centre in Nellore. Speaking about the vision of the movie, Varun says, “We wanted the movie to have a pan-India appeal, moving away from the region-centric narration that is usually seen. I totally bought into the idea that Sankalp (of Ghazi fame) brought. It is based on a true story, narrated in a fictitious way.”

Maari 2 box office collection Day 2: The Balaji Mohan directorial, starring Dhanush and Sai Pallavi, shines at the box office and receives mixed reviews from the audience and critics alike. Maari 2 is a 2018 Indian Tamil comedy action masala film directed by Balaji Mohan. It is a sequel to his 2015 film Maari. Dhanush, besides producing the film under his company Wunderbar Films, also stars the title character.Sai Pallavi, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Tovino Thomas & Krishna Kulasekaran will play other important roles.

Dhanush’s Maari, which released in 2015, became the biggest opener of his career in terms of box office collection. Back then the film earned Rs 20.1 crore (approx) on the opening day.The whole team came together to celebrate the victory. It also marked the beginning of a good friendship between director Balaji Mohan and Dhanush. The director even did a cameo in Dhanush’s debut directorial venture Pa Paandi.
Maari (Dhanush) still continues to be the local thug of North Chennai with his close friend Kalai (Krishna), son of powerful gangster (who is no more) aiding him in his activities.  Though Maari indulges in all kinds of nefarious activities, one thing he is against is getting into drug trafficking.

Like most Tamil films these days, Maari 2 begins with a voiceover. Maari, the eponymous hero, is introduced in a grand fashion, showering praises about his extra-human life — he is nallavan, vallavan, saavukku bayapadaadhavan, saavadikka mudiyaadhavan and the like. This voiceover also introduces Araathu Aanandhi, whose love interest is Maari;  and Kalai, Maari’s best-u friend. Once the voiceover is over, the speaking-to-camera starts.

The latest comedy action masala Tamil movie ‘Maari 2‘ is generating so much buzz as the film is reportedly got leaked online which will surely affect the total box office collection of the movie. The film starring Dhanush and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles, the movie also features Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Tovino Thomas and Krishna Kulasekaran in the prominent roles. The movie is a sequel of 2015 hit movie Maari. Let’s see how the movie is performing at the box office.
ollywood is seeing a glorious competition at the box office this week. With multiple new releases like Maari 2, Kanaa, Adanga Maru, and Silukuvarpatti Singam, theatres have been finding it difficult to allocate screens for the movies.
Film trade analysts have earlier warned that too many releases would lead to a lose-lose situation to all the movies, and It is turning out to be partly true.
Dhanush starrer ‘Maari 2‘ released this week with few more Tamil movies, like ‘Kanaa’, ‘Adanga Maru’, and ‘Silukuvarpatti Singam’, but in spite of competition, the film’s overall performance is satisfactory in its home city. Though the release of several films all at once has affected the business of all of them, as predicted by trade pundits, ‘Maari 2’ has turned out to be a success at Chennai Box Office. The collection of all the Tamil films released this week was tweeted by trade analyst Ramesh Bala.
In 2015, when Maari first hit screens, Balaji Mohan brought to life a character encompassing several shades of grey. An actor like Dhanush, typically seen in the hero mould, was refreshing to watch as a thug who took extreme joy in torturing and extorting money from innocents, and scorning any form of attachment. Even the masses in the film hated him with passion. Maari’s antics were thoroughly entertaining and it was this detached anti-hero that made a mark in what was otherwise an average movie.
irector Balaji Mohan’s films are always rooted in realism and simplistic things. He took a commercial route for the first time with Dhanush’s Maari, which hit the theatres in 2015. Three years later, he is back with a sequel that suffers the same case as Maari. The Dhanush-starrer is a fun film which becomes over-stretched in the second half.Maari (Dhanush), the naughtiest don of North Madras, is missing for eight years. Meanwhile, Thanatos aka Gangadhar Beeja (Tovino Thomas), who calls him the ‘God of Death’ wants to ‘kill Maari’.
