Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has claimed that 90 percent of Rajasthan’s citizens have health insurance coverage. Chief Minister Gehlot said that the reports received in this regard were satisfactory.
In general, 4 out of 10 citizens in the country have health insurance. But in Rajasthan, 9 out of 10 citizens have health insurance. Gehlot tweeted that this is the success of Chiranjeevi Yojana. This is a matter of consolation for the state government,” Gehlot said. Rs 10 lakh health insurance facility is available to everyone under Chiranjeevi Yojana in the state. Gehlot said that with health care from the Chiranjeevi Yojana Rajasthan government, citizens no longer have to worry about spending on health facilities. Gehlot said the state government was working hard to provide free health care to all citizens. Gehlot has asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to expand the reach of Ayushman Bharat Yojana along the lines of Chiranjeevi Yojana. Gehlot also demanded that Ayushman Bharat Yojana be implemented in all citizens of the country.
