New Delhi : According to a comprehensive study, taking three doses of the same vaccine or a third dose of different vaccines after the first two doses of the same vaccine for coronavirus prevention is also effective in preventing coronavirus. It can also prevent various forms of the corona virus.
The study findings, published in the prestigious BMJ medical journal, show that corona immunity depends on the amount of vaccine taken, rather than the combined dose. These findings may now be useful for public vaccination campaigns. Although the corona inhibitory properties of the same vaccine are known, the efficacy of two different vaccine doses is relatively unknown. The researchers say there is no definitive information on the effectiveness of the vaccine, especially in people who are older or have weakened immune systems. Although coronary heart disease and mortality are currently declining worldwide, research is ongoing to determine whether dosing two different vaccines will be effective due to the weakening of the immune system from the vaccine and new mutations in the corona. Researchers from the Chinese University of Hong Kong have been analyzing CVID-19 data from the World Health Organization every week since March 8, 2012. They analyzed the findings of seven different types of vaccines used in 100 million people in 53 research studies, as well as composite doses of 24 approved coronavirus vaccines. It was concluded that three doses of the same type of vaccine (Homogenius regimen) or a third dose of different vaccines after the first two doses of the same vaccine (heterogeneous regimen) effectively inhibited different types of coronaviruses. The researchers also say a third ‘booster dose’ is needed to prevent various mutations in the ‘Omycron’ virus.
