KGF movie review, KGF movie rating, kgf kannada movie rating, kgf telugu review, latest updates, kannada dubbed telugu movie roars at box office. K.G.F: Chapter 1 is a 2018 Indian Kannada-language period action film set in the Kolar Gold Fields. It was written and directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner Hombale films. It is the first installment in the two-part series, followed by K.G.F: Chapter 2. The film stars Yash in the lead role. After registering an impressive Rs 18.1 crore at the box office on day 1, the film has shown growth on its second day with a collection of Rs 19.20 crore. The film’s total collection now stands at Rs 37.21 crore.

The narrative in the first part builds the character of Rocky as the maverick mastermind who will not stop for anything until he reaches his mission. While there is a sense of temporary closure in the first chapter of the film, one also leaves the hall yearning for more. KGF surely seems to have delivered what it set to achieve.

KGF Chapter 1 hasn’t met the expectations that it created with its brilliant trailer. Critics have lauded the film for its visual appeal but have slammed it for being bland and cliched. However, there’s no stopping the Yash-starrer at the box office. The film is currently the biggest opener of the Kannada film industry. On its first day, the film collected about Rs 25 crore from the worldwide box office. In India, the film raked in Rs 21 crore (approx) despite facing competition from Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero. The Kannada film also released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam across the country. The film has opened to mixed critical reviews. However, the film has managed to smash many records in Karnataka.

SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali series proved that even regional movies can beat films of Bollywood, the biggest film industry of India. Baahubali The Conclusion is still the second highest-grosser of Indian cinema (Aamir Khan’s Dangal is on the top). Now, another regional film is giving a tough competition to the biggest Bollywood release of this week. Kannada film industry’s costliest venture KGF Chapter 1, starring Yash, has come close to Shah Rukh Khan’s latest release Zero in terms of box office collection. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be… a king.

Ambitious aspiration, humongous scope and big ticket budgeting — K.G.F. Chapter I has it all. Actor Yash has sought to shed his romantic hero image for a heavy-duty action hero avatar. However, all the pluses do not translate to an enjoyable experience. Director Prashanth Neel’s hope of pouring money on the screen in the hope of things falling in place is exceedingly optimistic. The film KGF stands for Kolar Gold Fields and in the 1970 and 1980S. Yash is on a a record-breaking spree with opening day collections. KGF has set a new benchmark in Yash’s career. We bet the film will likely make its way to the Rs 50 Cr club by this weekend even though it is believed to have raked in so much via other business. Going by the trend, the film would break every possible record at Karnataka box office. After seeing the overwhelming response to KGF, it is being heard that they are extending theatres for the film across the nation.

Story – screenplay – direction: Story of the film is good and connects well with the masses. Director Prasanth Neel’s direction is good. He brings a lot of style and swag to the film with his narration that is rich with visuals and sound. The narrative technique is in classic style where story is narrated in three time-frames. Screenplay of the film is good. Though there are a very few scenes, mother-son sentiment plays a major role in connecting audiences emotionally to the story of the film. Prasantha has terrific visual narrative skills. It’s at par with any world cinema or Hollywood film. Director ends the chapter 1 film with visuals that make us wait eagerly for the chapter 2. KGF: Chapter-1 is releasing in five languages and will hit the marquee on December 21. Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero is also scheduled for release the same day, but the makers of film are undeterred, says producer Ritesh Sidhwani. Actor and producer Farhan Akhtar along with partner Ritesh Sidhwani and leading cast of KGF: Chapter 1, Yash and Srinidhi Shetty were present at the second trailer release of the film in Mumbai on Wednesday.
