Famed playback singer Krishnakumar Kunnath (KK) passed away in Kolkata on Tuesday night (May 30). After suffering a concussion at a live concert in Calcutta, he suffered a massive heart attack and lost his life. He breathed his last at the age of 53. He passed away at 10:45 last night. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Everyone is shocked after his death.

KK had reportedly gone to a university in Calcutta to perform at a Nazrul Manch event. But she felt bad. As she sang on stage, she began to have more problems. She then she turned off the spotlight. I don’t feel well, I’m very hot. Feeling that we have ‘run out of gas’ emotionally.

KK made his Bollywood debut with Machis (Chhod Aaye Hum Wo Gallyan). But KK got her real identity from the movie ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’. In it, she had sung the song ‘Tadap Tadap Ke Is Dil Se’. KK was born on August 23, 1968 in Delhi. Apart from Hindi, KK has sung in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali and Gujarati films.
