Darshan Chappal Case: Police have arrested three people in connection with the slipper thrown at Kannada actor Darshan. Hospet police from Vijayanagar district arrested three people for attacking Darshan with slippers during the launch of the song ‘Kranti’ on December 18.

The police department had appointed three teams to catch the culprits in the case, and the team arrested 3 people. Apart from this, Vijayanagar SP district and Hospet DSP and other police personnel are conducting searches to catch the criminals as soon as possible.

What is the problem

This incident occurred on December 18 when Darshan and the ‘Kranti’ crew were promoting the film by releasing the second song of the film on Hosapete. Actress Rachita Ram was also on the stage alongside Darshan. During the promotion, some wrongdoers threw a slipper at Darshan to protest against him and Darshan immediately took control of the situation and appeased the wrongdoers by saying “Aaythu Chinna” (Okay dear), and the situation returned to normal.

After the incident, Darshan fans in Karnataka were angered by pictures of slippers being thrown at him and held protests in Karnataka to catch the culprit. Some politicians and the Kannada film industry gave their full support to Darshan to strongly condemn the incident and extend their support for Darshan.

Some unconfirmed reports allege that the Hospet criminals are fanatics of Puneet Rajkumar and that the attacks are part of an ongoing war between two groups of fanatics.
