That is why today we are looking at a picture of Hindi cinema versus Southern cinema. Recently, the famous southern actor Kamal Haasan reacted to this.
He was speaking at a press conference on the occasion of Vikram. On this occasion, Kamal Haasan said, “All language films are being made in India from the beginning. The film ‘Padosan’ was screened throughout the country. The movie ‘Mughal-e-Azam’ was also shown everywhere. Your country is unique. We are one even though we speak different languages. That’s the beauty of this country.”
“We have always been making films that are shown everywhere. It depends on how good your film is, whether you like it or not. Chemmai is a Malayalam film. It was shown everywhere. But the film was not even dubbed. It didn’t even have subtitles. But people still enjoyed it,” Haasan said.
