Major climax scene: Telugu actor Adivi Sesh capped off the year 2022 with two blockbuster movies, ‘Major’ and ‘Hit 2’. Recently, Adivi revealed that even before the filming of his movie finished, the set of the movie began to break down. In a conversation with Pinkvilla, he recounted how his set was vandalized for a Bollywood movie.

Adivi says that the film ‘Major’ was a very special film in his career as it is the story of the martyr Sandeep Unnikrishnan who lost his life while saving others during the 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai. The movie was appreciated by audiences and critics alike for its gripping plot and chilling performances.

Describing his unforgettable experience of filming for ‘Major’, Adivi Sesh said that filming for the climax was really difficult. He recalled shooting for the climax: “A Bollywood movie had booked the studio we were shooting in. And because we were shooting in a fire and I got sick, it delayed the completion of the movie.” The studio guys started tearing down the set while I was trying to stage a bloody fight. We could hear hammers coming from behind and our assistant director was like Trying to handle this is the climax, let’s shoot and all.

Adivi said that during this time there also came a time when we felt that we had lost everything. “There was a moment when we saw that the set was being broken, we felt that we were losing it, there was no way to finish it, we had 8 more shots left and we only had half an hour left and they were going to break the set. half a day, so I lost it. I actually started crying and our brilliant director Shashi said whatever frustration you’re feeling right now, put it in the scene and shoot it all in one take. We installed two cameras and we did it in one go.

Directed by Shashi Kiran Tikka, Major is based on the highly decorated NSG commando’s journey from childhood to the unfortunate incident that cost him his life in the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai in 2008. It also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar and Prakash Raj in key roles.
