Salman Khan working with Puri Jagannadh: Tollywood filmmaker Puri Jagannadh is planning a movie with Bollywood star Salman Khan after the flop of ‘Liger’. There is a buzz in the Telugu film industry that the director has narrated a script to Salman Khan. The actor is said to be looking forward to working on the film. However, there is no official confirmation yet.
News of Puri Jagannadh and Salman Khan’s union has been making the rounds ever since the Bollywood star starred in ‘Wanted’, a remake of Mahesh Babu’s film ‘Pokiri’. Prabhu Deva directed ‘Wanted’ which was one of the hit movies of 2009.
However, a new round of speculation has started about Puri Jagannadh approaching Salman with a script. Interestingly, both had worked on megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘The Godfather’. The filmmaker played the role of a journalist while Salman appeared in an extended cameo.
If Puri and Salman team up for the proposed venture, it could help the Tollywood director weather the tough times of late. His recent movie ‘Liger’ starring Vijay Deverakonda was not successful. The Hindi-Telugu film ‘Liger’ was reportedly made on a budget of around Rs 125 crore.

Talking about Salman Khan’s upcoming movies, he recently finished shooting the movie Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Apart from this, he will soon start shooting Tiger 3 with Katrina Kaif.
