Ponniyin Jungle 2 Release Date: The release date of the blockbuster film of the year 2022 and Mani Ratnam’s dream project, Ponniyin Selvan 2, has been announced today. Lyca Productions has shared the release date of the second part of this movie with a powerful teaser. The movie will be released in theaters next year i.e. 2023 on April 28.

The new teaser released for the film shows Aditya Karikalan (Vikram), Arulmozhi Varman (Jayam Ravi) and Vandhiyathevan (Karthi). As an enraged Karikalan is seen sitting in front of the idol of Kali, Arulmozhi is seen walking among many monks. On the other hand, it seems that Vandhiyathevan has returned to his adventures as he is seen with multiple injuries.

The first part left many questions.

The first part of Ponniyin Selvan 1 left a lot of questions at the end. In it, Arulmozhi Varman (Jayam Ravi) and Vandhiyathevan (Karthi) were seen drowning in the sea after a one-on-one with Pandiya, the story of their survival will be shown in the second part. The last scene of the film was done by showing the face of Oomai Rani which shocked the audience as this character is also played by Aishwarya Rai.

The second part of Ponniyin Selvan will show how Arulmozhi and Vandhiyathevan are saved, and it will also reveal the truth behind Nandini’s origin. With the second part, the story of Ponniyin Selvan will come to an end. Based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s series of novels written almost 70 years ago, Ponniyin Selvan tells the fictional story of Raja Raja Cholan and his ascension to the crown.

Directed by Mani Ratnam, Ponniyin Selvan also stars Vikram, Trisha, Prakash Raj, Kishore and Sarathkumar in pivotal roles. The film has music by AR Rahman and cinematography by Ravi Varman.
