The star host is expected to officially announce his decision after the Bigg Boss Tamil grand finale in January 2023. Recent reports published by Indiaglitz suggest that Kamal Haasan is not interested in continuing with the show, despite the creators offering him a hefty fee for its seventh season.

Kamal Haasan is currently busy filming ‘Indian 2’, the highly anticipated sequel to his 1996 blockbuster ‘Indian’. He plays a dual role as the freedom fighter Senapati and his father in the film directed by S Shankar. The long-awaited teaser for Indian 2 is expected to be released on the occasion of the New Year. The acting-directing duo is expected to complete the project by March 2023.
