Famed playback singer Krishnakumar Kunnath (KK) passed away in Kolkata on Tuesday night (May 30). The death of Krishnakumar Kunnath, also known as ‘Voice of Love’, has shocked fans. After suffering a concussion at a live concert in Calcutta, he suffered a massive heart attack and lost his life. Many veterans pay tribute to him after his passing.
KK reportedly collapsed at the Grand Hotel on May 31 after returning from a concert. This hotel is located within the limits of the market police station. KK was rushed to the hospital. There he was pronounced dead. The voice that enchanted the audience with many famous songs has gone beyond the veil of time. Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to KK after his death. Veteran actors like Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan, Mrinal Thakur, Abhishek Bachchan have also paid tribute to KK.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his regret
“I was saddened to hear the news of the untimely death of the famous singer Krishnakumar Kunnath i.e. KK. His songs became popular among people of all ages. He reflects the emotions of people of all ages. We will always remember him through his songs. My condolences to his family and fans. Om Shanti,” Prime Minister Modi tweeted.

“I was shocked to hear the news of KK’s tragic passing. This is our loss. Om Shanti,” actor Akshay Kumar paid tribute to him.
“We are saddened to hear the news of the passing of our beloved KK. There was also a big scare. He is a musician whose voice got me through a lot of my childhood,” actor Varun Dhawan said.

Abhishek Bachchan has also paid tribute to him. “It just came to our notice then. KK, thank you very much for sharing your talent with us. But you left too early,” Abhishek said.
KK made his Bollywood debut with Machis (Chhod Aaye Hum Wo Gallyan). But KK got her real identity from the movie ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’. In it, she had sung the song ‘Tadap Tadap Ke Is Dil Se’. KK was born on August 23, 1968 in Delhi. Apart from Hindi, KK has sung in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali and Gujarati films.
