Edible Oil Price: After a steady decline, soybean prices improved today. On the other hand, prices of soybean oil, CPO, cotton and palm oil have been declining amid the global market crash. Prices of mustard and peanut oil-oil seeds remained at the previous level between normal trade.

The arrival of mustard is declining
Market sources said there was no demand for oilseeds in Mandi except for soybeans. Apart from this, there was a fall in the prices of soybean oils due to the slowdown in the Chicago exchange. According to sources, the arrival of mustard and groundnut to Mandi has declined. The arrival of mustard to the mandis on Wednesday was reduced from five lakh bags to about 4.5 lakh bags.

Are being refined on a massive scale
Mustard can be a problem beyond large quantities of refined mustard. In the case of mustard, it is about nine -10 months before the next harvest and the government should be especially vigilant about mustard.

The government should make stockpiling of mustard
Sources said the government was trying to persuade central and state government procurement agencies to buy mustard seeds and make stock. It proves the interests of the country when needed. He said there was no alternative to mustard and the government should be vigilant.

Fall in prices
Sources said the Malaysian exchange was down nearly half a percent, while the Chicago exchange was down about 1.8 percent. Prices of soybean oil, crude palm oil (CPO), cotton seed and palmolin oil fell in foreign markets, sources said.
